Youth Search and Rescue Tauranga

Youth Search and Rescue Tauranga, a volunteer organisation that equips youths with skills to navigate New Zealand’s outdoor environment, has received $1,000.

The organisation trains youth extensively teaching them first aid, water safety and leadership skills.

The group, who volunteer at a range of events such as The Papamoa Hills Night Walk for breast cancer and “The Goat Race”, will use the grant to keep their first aid kits stocked for the next 10 months.
