Southbridge School has received $1,250 to purchase two Māori Korowai cloaks.
The Korowai is a woven garment of traditional materials such as flax and feathers that represents prestige and honour.
The garments will be used during Kapa Haka performances, worn by students receiving top awards and worn when representing the school.
