September 2018 Recipients
The Wilson family from Tauranga received $6,903.99 to purchase a specialised trike to support their 3-year-old son Toby who was born with Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome).
Toby loves social interaction and being outside, and the trike will allow him to get out and about and continue to enjoy the outdoors.
The trike will also be used to support and stimulate Toby’s physical and intellectual development.
