Bellevue School (Newlands) received $3,976 towards covering the cost of transporting its students to swimming lessons by bus.
The school believes that every child should learn to swim, so the whole school takes part in bi-annual swimming lessons at the local pool, equipping students with the skills to stay safe in and around the water.
