Ethan Jones

Melissa Jones’ four-year-old son, Ethan, was born prematurely and developed Spastic quadriplegia, a form of Cerebral Palsy that affects his arms and legs, making walking near impossible.

The Jones family received $7,500.00 to help fund a Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy surgery that will help increase Ethan’s chances of walking pain free.

The surgery is not available in New Zealand but is performed at the St Louis Children’s Hospital in the United States. It will reduce the tightness of his muscles and increase his overall functionality.
