September 2016 Recipients
The Motutapu Restoration Trust have been working for over 21 years to restore the natural and cultural landscape of Motutapu Island.
They received $7,000 to purchase two portable shade houses and two seed germination tables (cold frames) for the Motutapu Nursery.
The cold frames will enable the trust to increase the variety and quantity of their plant production and propagate more species that germinate in cool climates, rather than the warmer climate of the glass house.
