March 2017 Recipients
Russley School incorporates Lego and robots in their schooling to encourage students to learn the basics of robot programming using a computer and Lego robots.
They received $3,091 from the foundation to purchase 4 Lego EV3 Robots to update and enhance the programme for current and future students.
The programme is offered to students in years 5 through to 8, in which they work in teams to design robots, solve problems and refine their programming to complete more challenging tasks.
