Rotorua SPCA

The Rotorua SPCA has received $242.61 to go towards purchasing a microchip scanner that will enable them to identify lost or stray pets and reunite them with their families.

This vital piece of equipment will allow the SPCA to quickly notify owners of their lost pets and save money by reducing the time an animal is kept in the shelter.

The Rotorua SPCA is the first point of call for all animal welfare issues in the area and any equipment that can free up time and resources will allow them to help more animals in need.
