The Ruel Foundation, based in Tauranga, is a children’s charity organisation, which provides free medical aid to children living in remote areas of the South Pacific.
The foundation received $3,572.75 to replace worn out office equipment in its head office.
In New Zealand, the foundation works with the local community to implement its ‘Give A Smile’ programme; raising awareness of children living with Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate and generating positive community interaction.
Clefts is a birth defect that affects the development of the lip or palate.
