September 2017 Recipients
Rutherford College in Te Atatu, Auckland, received $2,443.75 to cover the cost of replacing a table saw and materials for the school’s technology department.
The previous table saw was over 30 years old and posed a serious health and safety risk to students and teachers.
The new and modern saw will give the students a wider range of real world technology experience and be able to perform manoeuvres and tasks the previous saw wasn’t able too.
