Turitea Childcare Centre is situated in a semi-rural setting within the Ag Research Grasslands site in Palmerston North.
The centre has a large outdoor learning environment for the children to immerse themselves in nature and learn through play-based activities. It received $1,848 from the Mazda Foundation to replace its lawn area so that it can continue to focus on sustainability, natural resources and active play.
