Manawahe Eco Trust

The Manawahe Eco Trust was formed to manage and enhance the biodiversity between Lake Rotoma and the sea at Matata, home to threatened species including bats, the New Zealand falcon, and the iconic kokako.

The Trust works to lessen these threats and received $3,740 to purchase 10 cameras to monitor its progress managing predators in the Manawahe Ecological Corridor.
