Wairarapa College received $603.75 to enable eight students in the Supported Learning Centre to participate in Duke of Edinburgh programme.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a non-competitive, internationally recognised programme designed to encourage young people to develop positive skills and lifestyle habits.
Wairarapa College’s Supported Learning Centre aims to encourage and provide learning opportunities for high needs students to help them live as independently as possible.
