Birthright Hutt Valley Trust received a grant of $1,126 enabling them to provide comprehensive First Aid training for five team members. The trust’s mission is to reduce the inequities children raised in single-parent homes experience with a focus on reducing poverty. The trust provides several initiatives which includes advocating for whanau, assisting with work readiness, contributing towards school uniforms, assisting with sports fees and other extracurricular activity fees, holding family-focused events, providing food parcels and giving access to donated items from the community.
