Central North Island Kindergarten Trust’s mission is to create an inclusive and diverse learning environment for children, allowing them to explore and appreciate both their peers and their own cultures. Part of this diverse learning environment is the focus on outdoor education. The trust received a grant of $1,100 towards purchasing 15 sets of rainwear and gumboots for the outdoor education programme. This will help the students to stay dry and warm whilst still receiving a well-rounded early childhood education.
