June 2022 Recipients
The Manawahe Eco Trust (MET) was created to manage and enhance the native biodiversity of the Manawahe Ecological Corridor, which is the only forested ecological corridor that exists between the Rotorua lakes and the sea. MET’s focus is on protecting the native biodiversity of the Manawahe Ecological Corridor through predator control and education. The Trust received a grant of $2,650 to assist in purchasing trap monitors, which are a huge asset for the overall predator control work undertaken by MET.
