Port Ahuriri Playcentre recognise parents and whanau as the first and best educators of children. Their aim is to enrich their community by strengthening parent engagement and providing the children with access to resources, materials, and opportunities. They received a grant of $990 which will go towards a first aid course for six volunteer parents helping them meet the Ministry of Educations licensing and funding requirements.
